When arriving at Forest Park all individual guests are required to wear a face covering and register with the COVID 19 NHS app, or provide details of name and telephone number.
We have re-designed our restaurant to ensure all seated diners are distanced in line with UK government advice. Servers will take orders at safe distance, wearing custom designed masks, or alternatively you may wish to pre-order and pay in advance from our online digital menus. Food will be delivered on specially made “ long boards” or “landing trolleys”. Salt and Pepper cellars and menus are cleaned with anti-bac after each guest, our menus are printed and coated with revolutionary film which eliminates 99% of bacteria after continued use or you can access our digital menus on your personal device. It is strongly advised to reserve tables in advance to guarantee a table and menus can be seen on our website.
Condiments have been replaced with individual single serve portions. Our wooden tables and other touch points are carefully cleaned after each guest service. We will operate two sittings during higher demand dinner and lunch to avoid crowding. For this reason each table will have a maximum 1.75 hour slot.
We have implemented a one way route around the reception, toilet and bar areas which we would ask you to respect.
Breakfast- will be served to your table, where buffet is in use, a staff member will distribute items to you or items will be individual and not shared. Dining arrival times will be staggered to ensure crowding at breakfast is not an issue. We would kindly ask guests to pre-book a breakfast time slot the day before, and respect time slots that are already fully booked.
Room Service- room service and in-room dining is available in most rooms. If you require in-room dining throughout your stay, please let us know before arrival or at check in. Items will be delivered to your room. We would respect social distancing once the door is opened.
Picnics- for those wishing to take lunch, afternoon tea or dinner in the Forest, picnics will be available to order during your stay with 24 hours’ notice.
Garden- Our local sourced food and extensive drinks collection are served in the Enchanted Garden. We would request social distancing is respected. Note that ordering will be at our new garden cashier station.We also ask guest not to move furniture around in the garden, please ask a member of staff. – table reservations are advised to guarantee a table. Our team of Chefs practice the highest standard of hygiene, they wear PPE, and practice social distancing where possible.
